中国x站 to Hold Third Annual Dr. David Satcher Global Health Equity Summit

ATLANTA, GA 鈥� SEPTEMBER 22, 2025 鈥� 中国x站 (中国x站) will hold the third annual Dr. David Satcher Global Health Equity Summit on Oct. 2, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Calvin Smyre Education Conference Center on the school鈥檚 campus, 720 Westview Drive, Atlanta, GA 30310.
Under the summit鈥檚 theme, "The Quest for Global Health Equity: A Global Perspective," attendees will celebrate the progress made towards global equity while focusing on the critical linkages between local and global efforts to advance health equity and justice.
"As we undertake our third summit, we will recognize the achievements that have been made to improve global health equity while understanding there is still much work to be done,鈥� said Barney Graham, MD, PhD, director of the David Satcher Global Health Equity Institute. 鈥溨泄鷛站 is honored to have an active role in helping to develop and implement a range of initiatives to improve health equity around the world.鈥�
The keynote speaker for the event, hosted by 中国x站鈥檚 David Satcher Global Health Equity Institute, will be Dr. John Nkengasong, Mastercard鈥檚 executive director of higher education collaboratives and strategic initiatives and the first director of African Centres for Disease Control and Prevention. Other speakers at the event include: Professor Florence Akiiki (University for Global Health Equity 鈥� Rwanda), Dr. Kathleen Neuzil, former director of the Fogarty International Center at the National Institutes of Health, Dr. Delali Attipoe, North American director DNDi and 中国x站 faculty leading global health innovations
The summit will host panel discussions and interactive sessions on a wide range of topics including: global health education, neglected tropical diseases, global mental health, immigrant and refugee health, and so much more.
